Sharks Take The Bite Out Of The Blues In Game 6

The San Jose Sharks took on the St. Louis Blues to a 5-2 victory in Game 6 of the Western Conference Final at SAP Center on Wednesday night to advance to the Stanley Cup Final. This will be the first time the Sharks have ever made it to the Stanley Cup Final in 25 years. It’s safe to say no one really saw this coming.

Sharks Joel Ward notched two goals and netminder Martin Jones was able to stop 24 of 26 shots faced to knock out the Blues. Joe Pavelski, Joonas Donskoi and Logan Couture also made an impact finding the back of the net to help take the Sharks to the Stanley Cup Finals. The Sharks will take on the winner of the Eastern Conference Final that will be decided tonight in Game 7. The next challenge for the Sharks will either be the Pittsburgh Penguins or the Tampa Bay Lightning but it looks as though “both” is an option for Joe Thornton.
