Beyond The Benches

Hockey Halloween Cheer Brought By The Canucks

A few of the Vancouver Canucks wanted to spread some Hockey Halloween cheer this year, and they did it by visiting Canuck Place. Canuck Place Children’s Hospice opened in November 1995. It’s North America’s first free-standing children’s hospice who strive to create a positive experience for the families and child going through these painful situations.

The Canucks Halloween lineup included Alex Biega, Brendan Gaunce, Chris Tanev and Jack Skille. The three decorated pumpkins and even closed out the show with an adorable baby mic drop.

“Being together and celebrating Halloween, it really puts things in perspective. Giving back in the way that we can and just sitting down with the kids seeing how much they love the Canucks carving pumpkins, eating some chocolate with them. It means so much to them, it’s the least we can do as players.” said Beiga on the experience.

CanucksTV released a video of Hockey Halloween at Canuck Place.
