Senators Dominate Penguins In Game 3

The Ottawa Senators conquered the Pittsburgh Penguins 5-1 for Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Final at Canadian Tire Centre on Wednesday night. The Senators have now taken the 2-1 lead in the best-of-seven series.

“We were just alive, I think if you followed all our games here that is how we work,” Sens head coach Guy Boucher said in press conference following the game.

The four goal explosion happened in the first against netminder Marc-Andre Fluery before Matt Murray stepped in between the pipes. Senators Craig Anderson tallied 25 saves while allowing just one goal during the battle.

Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Final will take place on Friday at 8 p.m. E.T.
