Penguins Trevor Daley On His Waived-Off Goal

The Pittsburgh Penguins will now head to a Game 7 against the Ottawa Senators after a 2-1 loss in Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Final at Canadian Tire Centre on Tuesday night. One of the controversial calls that could have prevented the Game 7 battle came from a waived-off goal from Penguins Trevor Daley.

“I thought he was squirming in the net, I don’t think I really pushed him in,” Daley said in a post game interview.

Even with the waived-off goal Senators netminder Craig Anderson was extraordinary between the pipes as the Penguins out-shot the Senators 46-30 and dominated 75-46 in shot attempts.
