Beyond The Benches

Subban, Crosby & Listerine

Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Final led to a 5-1 Nashville Predators win over the Pittsburgh Penguins Saturday night in front of an electric crowd. The first Stanley Cup Final win for the Predators had a combined 78 penalty minutes, including five game misconducts that led to putting Predators P.K. Subban back in the spotlight over his end of the game chirping to Penguins captain Sidney Crosby.

As you can see in the video above, the Predators defenseman was asked after the game what was said between himself and Crosby.

“He told me my breath smelled, but I don’t know,” Subban said. “I used Listerine before the game. I thought my breath smelled great. So I don’t know what he’s talking about.”
